Big portions! Very good chilli chicken and crispy beef!
The place is clean and the service is pretty good.
This will be in my family's regular rotation of places to eat in ny neighborhood.
Service is great too. -

This review is based on my lunch experience.
A one dish meal with a drink for $7.50?! I am not complaining. Usually I am not too crazy about Indian Hakka Chinese because of the oiliness and heaviness. Surprisingly, my Chili Chicken was not too heavily breaded and have just a light sauce. Serving piping hot right from the wok, I can smell that sweet spicy aroma of chili.
Service was friendly and fast. I like how modern and cheerful the decor is.
Li Dynasty probably the cleanest and most spacious Indian Hakka Chinese restaurant in the area. Worth a visit if you are in the hood. -

Speed Read:
1) It's another Federick in Markham!! Anything else I need to say?
2) Authentic Yummy Indian Hakka food
3) The waiter/waitresses can be more attentive.
4) Generous portion and reasonable price
5) Try Chili Chicken, Chicken pakora, kan sue green bean,
6) Hakka sweet chow mein (not sure if this is the right name)
We always order chicken pakora as appetizer.
Chicken pakora is marinated chicken (usually dark meat) mixed with vegetable, Indian spices or paste, and deep fried with batter. I love the tender chicken with the Indian spice.
We also like the chili chicken and kan-sue (pan fried) green bean to go with the rice. Chili chicken is on the saltier side. The lightly pan fried green is great for people who hate green veggies.
A unique dish that you won't find in other Chinese restaurant is the Hakka sweet chow mein. It's fried noddle that are made with sweet soy sauce.
The restaurant is new, and the staff are kind of inexperience. The service has room for improvement.
If you have read this far, I can tell you the owner of this restaurant is closed related to the owner of Federick. (Google it if you don't believe me.) The restaurant would have named Federick if life didn't throw a surprise to the family.
They also have Indian style ice cream there. Just ask! -

i'm gonna keep this simple - if you're looking for SPICY Chinese food that's full of flavor in clean surroundings, Li Dynasty is the spot!
First of all, this Brooklyn girl found herself visiting relatives in Markham and was dyinggg for some spicy food. Thanks to Yelp, i happened upon Li Dynasty which ended up being not too far from my fam's house.
It's a very new restaurant and very clean. It's in a plaza, so there's ample parking. The menu is extensive, so you're bound to find something you like. Everything we ordered was good! Shrimp Pakora, spring rolls, spicy veggies, house fried rice, and a chicken dish that the fam raved about. The server was attentive without hovering and we had a lovely dinner.
What can be improved? De-vein the shrimp, please! i know it's a hassle, but that waste highway in shrimps has got to go! It's just not sanitary to cook shrimps that haven't been deveined; and it's just gross to see it as a customer. Yes, i know, it's not likely anyone will get sick from the veins in small shrimps, but it's so much more enjoyable to eat fully cleaned shrimp.
Otherwise, great place to eat. -

This place is pretty big and 'relatively' new. I think the restaurant first opened its doors in early 2018. This plaza is bustling with new food choices as real estate continues to expand in Markham East. Anyways, the interior design of this restaurant caught me by surprise because it looks better than most Chinese Restaurants (you know, white plastic table cloths or super rundown wallpaper lols). The staff were extremely attentive and kept asking if we were ready to order. Unfortunately our friend was late so we had to politely decline every time lols. I haven't eaten at too many Hakka restaurants so I found the prices a tad higher than that of Chinese restaurants in Scarborough.
The food came pretty fast after we ordered so wait time isn't an issue here. The fish pakora came first and because I never had this before I didn't know what to expect. Let me warn you that this plate is HUGE, after eating 1 pakora I was already feeling bloated lols. Pakora is deep fried, the fish on the inside was quite tender so that was definitely a plus. The pakora was a bit too spicy for me and I couldn't eat more than 2 pieces. We ordered 3 entrees and 1 appetizer (pakora being the appetizer), and we had to get 2 takeout boxes afterwards lols. The noodles looked less brown than what I expected, it also was more bland. I honestly don't have much feedback for this dish because it was forgettable. The eggplant was actually my favourite, it wasn't too spicy and cooked just right. It actually pairs best with rice, so make sure you order those extra carbs!
I feel a little disappointed with my own review because I don't have much of a Hakka baseline. If time permits I would come back to adjust my scoring, but so far I think this restaurant is mediocre. None of the dishes stood out and I can't see myself coming back unless I worked around here and wanted a filling lunch.
